We run a rich and varied programme of activities for children and young people in the parish. Here are some of the highlights:
Sunday mornings
There are always toys, books and colouring activities at the back of church for children during any service in our churches. St. Andrew’s runs a Cool School and creche for children during the morning service from 11am some weeks.
Deanery Youth Group
There is a group of young people from churches across Kirkby, Knowsley, Prescot and Huyton, for ages 10+ (School Year 6 and upwards). Please contact us for more information.
Tuesday afternoons
Messy Church takes place at Kirkby CofE School in term time from 3:45 – 4:15pm, with activites and refreshments before hand from 3:15pm. Fast moving, exciting, musical and interesting, this is an event for children and parents.
Annual Events
We also have various events and parties that happen annually, such as a Good Friday Activity Morning, a Light Night (alternative to Halloween) and a Christmas Party.
Centre 63
There is a wide range of activities that run out of Centre 63 for young people – see their website for more details.
