Dodging the rain for the games

During the second week of the school holidays Wastewatchers Holiday Club took place at St. Andrew’s Church, attracting over 40 children from the local schools in Tower Hill. A team of over 20 helpers from the church worked with them and a great time was had by all with singing, craft activities, DVDs, games and challenges often involving water and shaving cream. The theme was transformation and how God can bring life beauty and hope out of apparent dark and hopeless situations and we studied a number of bible stories which illustrated these themes together. Now autumn has come the children are continuing to attend our Kids Club learning what it means to be Junior Heros.
